A total of 209,626 students majored in preschool education, including 6,481 undergraduates, accounting for 3.1% of the total number. The total number of college students is 18,483, accounting for 8.8%. There are 184,662 secondary school students, accounting for 88.1%, and 141,405 graduates.

2.The basic situation of preschool kindergarten teachers in China.
There are 899,000 full-time kindergarten teachers in China, including 381,000 in urban areas, accounting for 42.5% of the total. 309,000 teachers are distributed in counties and towns, accounting for 34.3% of the total. A total of 209,000 teachers are distributed in rural areas, accounting for 23.2 percent of the total. The proportion of full-time kindergarten teachers with a secondary school degree or above is accounting for 56.2 percent in urban areas and 36.4 percent in rural areas.
